Natalie Watters
Natalie became a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga to the People's 200 hour teacher training program in 2012. She has actively participated in the training programs at Yoga to the People since. In addition to Gaia Yoga, Natalie also teaches at Yoga to the People and a community flow class at Yoga Kula in Berkeley. She enjoys teaching yoga as a tool for people to use to balance urban lifestyles and the dualities that it can present. Since childhood, Natalie has adored the serenity and comforts of nature. She finds her personal practice most enjoyable in natural settings and she often practices in the trees of Tilden nearby her family home. Natalie seeks opportunities to participate and teach in retreat settings as well. For five summers she was the chef and assistant guide for backcountry yoga retreats with Back to Earth Outdoors. During that time and in the settings of California's most beautiful wild spaces (such as Yosemite and Big Sur), she learned many different styles of yoga. Natalie practices and guides breath work, mindful eating meditations, passive and active meditations, tai chi and qi gong. She is excited to share her cumulative interests with the community at Gaia.
