Maja Franklin
Maja Franklin, a yoga teacher (RYT 200) and holistic coach, is dedicated to creating heart-centered classes that cultivate balance, joy, and inner peace. Integrating Hatha, Vinyasa, and Anusara styles, her teachings awaken the power of knowing your heart, understanding your higher self, and cultivating clarity and joy in everyday life.
Since 2009, yoga has been Maja’s path to self-discovery, healing, and spiritual growth. Through her practice, she has found grounding and calm during life’s challenges, deepening her connection with her authentic self.
Maja completed her 200-hour certification at Yoga Kula in Berkeley, where she studied with Saraswati Clare, Amy Ippoliti, and Doug Keller. She has continued to enrich her teaching through hands-on experience at Gaia Yoga, Yoga Kula, and Bridges Fitness, as well as by offering yoga to children and families in local parks. Maja also volunteers at her daughter’s school, teaching yoga to children, and serves as a mindful leader at Spirit Rock for family events.
Before fully stepping into teaching and coaching, Maja worked as a Software Engineer in the fast-paced, tech-driven world. This experience gives her a deep understanding of how yoga can help counteract the physical and mental stress of modern life. She is passionate about guiding students on a path of self-liberation, awareness, and serenity—helping them discover their own wisdom and the joy of simply being.
